THE ANZAI GALLERY では3月19日よりキャラクターデザイナー、デジタルアーティスト、立体作家として活躍する森田悠揮の個展「PURE」を開催いたします。“唯一無二のもの”として証明する仕組みである”NFT”、そして仕組みをアート作品に用いた”NFTアート”。NFTアートはこの1年で仮想通貨市場の拡大と相まって、国内外の企業が新規参入、また世界の名だたるギャラリーも参入するなど急激な拡大をみせています。本展では注目を集めているNFT作品を軸に立体作品とともに展示いたします。森田悠揮は国内外の映画、テレビ番組、CM、ゲームなど幅広い分野でコンセプトアート、クリーチャーデザインを手掛けてきました。その一方で、近年はアーティストとして自身のアート作品も制作しています。手掛ける作品は自然物からのインスピレーション、自身の神道的思想などが反映され、表現方法もデジタル造形からシミュレーションなどの３ＤＣＧ全般の技術を使用し、作品ごとに異なるものを用いるなど多岐にわたります。“視覚表現として面白そうな技術を模索しつつ、自分が見たいものを作っている。”と彼は話すように、自身が見たい作品に向かって技術を身につける、表現に真摯に向き合うその姿はまさに、今回の展示タイトル「PURE」に通じているのではないでしょうか。唯一無二のデータとして、今後もNFTアートはムーブメントとして終わることなく、広がりを見せていくでしょう。彼の活動も同様に、NFTアートをより派生した形で展開していくことを視野に入れています。そのためにはメタバースなど、プラットフォームが整うことがとても重要になってくるのです。本展は、森田悠揮が作り出す物語の序章であり、未来予想図としての役割もあるのです。NFTアートの現在とその未来を共に見据える本展をより多くの方々にご覧いただけば幸いです。

THE ANZAI GALLERY is pleased to present incorrect order a solo exhibition “PURE” starting March 19. Its creator, Yuuki Morita is known as a character designer, digital artist, and three-dimensional artist. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are designed to prove ownership of unique items, and  NFT art is an artwork that uses this system. NFT art has seen a rapid expansion in the cryptocurrency market over the past year, with new domestic and international companies as well as the world's most prestigious galleries entering the market. 
The exhibition will feature NFT art works that have been attracting the public's attention along with three-dimensional artworks. Yuuki Morita has worked on concept art and creature design in a wide range of fields 　including Japanese and international movies, TV shows, commercials, and games. On the other hand, he has been creating his own artworks as an artist in recent years. His works reflect his inspiration from natural objects and his Shinto beliefs. and he also uses a variety of expression methods, from digital modeling to 3DCG techniques such as simulation, and different methods are applied to each work. "I make what I want to see while exploring techniques that might be interesting as visual expression."

As he says, the way he earnestly pursues his own expression and acquires techniques toward the works he wants to see is exactly what the title of this exhibition, "PURE" presents. His art career is similarly expected toward developing more derivative forms of NFT art. For this purpose, it is very important to have a platform in place, such as the Metaverse. This exhibition plays roles as a prelude to a story that Yuuki Morita creates and a forecast of the future. We hope that many of you will enjoy this exhibition that showcases the present and future of NFT art together.
