​「Deep sea」

誰も知らない、深く、青い世界。忘れ去られた宮殿。目覚める幼い女王。彫刻は一つの欠片にすぎないが、無限の物語へと繋がる扉の鍵でもある。近年は仮想のフィールドを想起するテーマで毎回個展を構成しているコムロタカヒロ 。今回のテーマは深海です。昨年から開始した10年で100種類の作品を発表するプロジェクトの一部となります。一見プラスチック製のフィギュアに見える作品は丁寧に磨きあげ仕上げられた木彫であり、コムロの原体験であるフィギュアで遊びながら作られた神話の結晶化を試みています。

「Deep sea」
A deep, blue world that no one knows. A forgotten palace. A young queen awakening. The sculpture is only a fragment, but it is also the key to a door that leads to an infinite story. In recent years, Takahiro Komuro has composed each solo exhibition with a theme that evokes a virtual field. This time, the theme is the deep sea. It will be part of a project started last year to present 100 different works in 10 years. The works, which at first glance appear to be plastic figures, are carefully polished and finished wood carvings, attempting to crystallize the mythology created while playing with the figures, Komuro's original experience.
