THE ANZAI GALLERYでは1月14日 (土) より河原温の展覧会を作家の財団であるOne Million Foundationと共催いたします。時間や存在をテーマとした作品を制作した河原は国際的にも高い評価を受けています。彼の代表作である、キャンバスに制作当日の日付だけを描く“Today”シリーズや、その日の起床時間をスタンプした絵葉書を友人に送る”I Got Up”シリーズを中心に展覧いたします。なお、作家に関する書籍等を閲覧できるスペースも併設しております。皆様のご来廊お待ちしております。

 

THE ANZAI GALLERY is pleased to co-organize an exhibition by On Kawara with the artist's foundation, One Million Foundation, beginning next Saturday, January 14. Kawara is internationally acclaimed for his works that explore the themes of time and existence. The exhibition focuses on his representative works such as the "Today" series, in which he paints only the date of the day on the canvas, and the "I Got Up" series, in which he sends postcards to his friends stamped with the time he woke up on that day. The exhibition will also hold a public space where visitors can browse books related to the artist. We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery.
